I am very sorry to hear of my cousin Dorothy's recent passing. I send my condolences to the family
and I share in your grief. I am having a Mass said here in Vallarta in her memory. For sometime I
have been following Dorothy on FB and I was delighted to see her looking so happy and
surrounded by family. Seeing her took me back probably 65 years to one of the first times that I
remember seeing her in person. It was in our grandmother's kitchen when she was in town
visiting on her way back to Kansas. We had a good visit then, and all of the times we met,
mostly on holidays that she came to visit. I thought she was so cool, and seeing her photos
brought back all the wonderful memories that I have of her and the gathered family. Dorothy
had the "real Burnett" (Dad and Uncle Jack dropped the final "e") "sense of humor", I remember a
lot of laughing when we met. I was in Great Bend only once. Don BurnettDon Burnett, Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco

Dotty was a great friend and ESA Sister. She introduced me to ESA 60 years ago when we worked
in the oil business and continued to be a friend and sister. She kept me dressed in beautiful clothes
while I was running for IC President in ESA which I ultimately won in 1998-99. She led my honor
guard at my installation in St Louis where I was installed. Dotty also installed me when I was KS
State President in 1984-85. I will miss her. She was a beautiful lady inside and out. Joan BournJoan Bourn, Wichita KS

What wonderful memories Dotty leaves our organization - Epsilon Sigma Alpha. She led our Kansas Council through many offices and eventually as KSC President. Through her leadership she impacted many young women with her grace and friendship. Dotty's life was a life well lived and she gave back to her community and her associations with others. It saddens us deeply to have to say goodbye. Dotty's impact on our lives will be a positive memory for her ESA sisters. She was a positive and dynamic example for all to follow. Rest in peace and grace Dotty . we will keep you in our hearts and remember you always.
